Terms
Terms of use.
These terms explain how you can use the History Week UK 2027 website, and what registering your interest does and does not mean. By using this site, you agree to these terms.
Please note: This is a template notice for a site in development; final legal wording and the operating legal entity will be confirmed before launch. These terms will be updated as History Week UK 2027 takes shape.
About this site
This website provides information about History Week UK 2027 — a national week of history, heritage and live learning currently in development — and lets schools, cultural venues, partners and sponsors register their interest in taking part. The site is provided on an "as is" basis while plans for the week are being developed.
Registering interest is not a contract
Registering your interest through this website is exactly that: an expression of interest. It is not a contract, a booking, an application, or any kind of binding agreement, and it creates no obligation on you or on History Week UK 2027.
Submitting an interest form does not commit you to taking part, and it does not commit us to including you. Any future participation, agreement or arrangement would be set out separately and clearly at the time.
No guarantee of participation
We cannot and do not guarantee that History Week UK 2027 will run in any particular form, on any particular dates, or that any school, venue, partner or sponsor who registers interest will be able to take part. Details on this site — including themes, dates, routes to take part and descriptions of how the week might work — are indicative and may change as plans develop.
Where this site describes types of venues, sessions or activities, these are illustrative examples of what History Week is designed to support. They do not state or imply that any named organisation is confirmed, partnered or already participating.
Acceptable use
When you use this site you agree to:
- Provide accurate information when you register interest
- Only register interest on behalf of yourself or an organisation you are entitled to represent
- Not enter pupil personal data or other people's personal data into the forms
- Not misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or use it for any unlawful purpose
- Not submit content that is unlawful, offensive, misleading or infringes anyone's rights
